Extra Curricular Activities

Note:  Enquiries and enrolments are welcome from parents whose children attend other schools on Koh Samui.

Parents are asked to phone the Samui Centre for current course availability and future 'after hours' class, start dates.

Extra English Classes:   Teacher:  Grace

This class provides children with the opportunity to improve on their existing level of English.  Subjects covered: literacy, maths and art. For ages 5-10 years.  Maximum of  10 children per class.        

Time and Place: Saturday from 10:00am-12:00pm, Samui Centre of Learning

Price: 250bht for two hours/ 1,000bht for 4 classes

Ballet Classes:   Teacher:  Roz

Time and Place: Tuesday from 4:00-5:00pm, Karate School in HuaThanon

Price: 250bht per lesson/ 1,000bht for 4 lessons

*Children can be transported from the school to the ballet lessons, parents are required to pick their children up from the  ballet school. From ages 4-8

Art Club:   Teacher:  Cara

Time and Place: Monday 3:30 - 4:30pm, Samui Centre of Learning

Price:  1,000bht for 4 lessons

Ages 5 and up. Learning techniques will include: Painting, drawing, collage, printing, photography. All level and abilities are welcome.

Keyboard Classes:   Teacher: Grace

Time and Place: Monday 3:45 - 4:45, Samui Centre of Learning

Price: 1,000bht for 4 lessons

*Maximum of 5 per class. Ages 5 and up. School already has two keyboards, if you wish your child to use one of these keyboards please inform Roz as soon as possible.  Once the two keyboards are being used by students, parents will be required to provide their child with a keyboard.  School has the music book for class, if you wish to obtain your own copy, please pay 100bht.

Musical Theatre Group:   Teacher:   Emma

This is a wonderful opportunity for children to take part in drama, dancing, singing and backstage work.  Children follow musical play-scripts and learn the principles of musical theatre. For ages 4 and up. Minimum 5 per class.

Time and Place:  Thursday 3:45 - 4:45, Samui Centre of Learning

Price: 1,000bht for 4 classes

Extra Thai Classes:  Teacher:   A

This class provides children with the opportunity to improve their existing level of Thai.  Subjects covered: reading, writing, communicating, maths, Thai culture and art.  For ages 4 and up.

Time and Place:  Saturday 1:00 - 3:00pm , Samui Centre of Learning

Price: 250bht for two hours/ 1,000bht for 4 lessons

Traditional Thai dancing:   Teacher:   Aw      Available soon

Yogi Bears:   Teacher:   Emma        Available soon
